Team Americas Take Martial Arts Performing To New Levels

June 5th 2009, at the first annual Action Radio Network & World Martial Arts Magazine Hall
of Fame in Clearwater Beach, Florida, Danny Zaino's Team Americas Debuts the first public
performance of their new acts. Formerly Team Pepsi, Team Americas features Tony, Joey, and Dominique Zaino along with several State and National Champions. Their performance at the Hall of Fame Awards show revealed their new patriotic theme for the team. Coach Danny Zaino said: "The team in now focusing on performing at the professional level for television and large convention events. Our tv and radio exposure has catapulted the team into the international spotlight attracting the attention of the television and movie industry. We are very happy to get to represent the martial arts in such a positive manner. We get to show the world that martial arts is a family attactivity that can become a healthy lifestyle."
The hall of fame event and performance was filmed for "Fight Zone TV" and "World Martial
Arts TV". This hall of fame event was hosted by Grand Master Danny & Theresa Zaino and Grand Master Carl Stone attended by some of the biggest names in the martial arts and
entertainment industry. Al Martino and Nancy Evans from "Fight Zone TV" were in attendance along with Jay Abrams from the "Brawl Call TV Show" on Sun Sports. Richard Hackworth from the Action Radio Network and Claire Poulton from World Martial Arts Magazine were also in attendance covering the event.
The Zaino family will be part of the upcoming TV taping for "World Martial Arts TV" on
August 1st where they will be filming segments for the first season of the show. On August
2nd they will be filming for the reality tv format documentary "Born To Compete" in Lake
County, Florida. The film's executive director, Richard Hackworth said: "This is the first
time that a family of martial artists has been followed from event to event this way. It
will give the world a real look into what it takes to compete on this level and how much
work is really involved. Most people don't understand the personal, professional, and
financial sacrafices that families make to compete on the international level."
